Trump believes President was born in the United States

Donald Trump has dumped claims that President Obama wasn't born in the U.S after he successfully obtained President Obama's birth certificate.

 

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump believes Barack Obama was born in the United States.

Trump, who was one of the leaders of the "birther" movement that questioned President Barack Obama's U.S. citizenship, made this known via a statement by the Trump campaign on Thursday

"Having successfully obtained President Obama's birth certificate when others could not, Mr. Trump believes that President Obama was born in the United States," Trump senior communications advisor Jason Miller said in a statement
