Twitter To Shutdown Its Video-Sharing App Vine.

twitter-image-service-vine

Twitter Inc announced Thursday that it would discontinue the video-sharing mobile app Vine, as it moves to cut 9 percent of its workforce worldwide to keep costs down after beating Wall Street quarterly earnings expectations.
The decision comes on the heels of a failed attempt to sell Twitter as it fights against stagnant user growth and mounting competition from other social media platforms.
In a post published jointly by Twitter and Vine to the blog platform Medium, the social media services said that the Vine website would stay live even after the mobile app is discontinued, giving users the chance to download and save any videos.
A Twitter spokeswoman told Reuters the app will shutter in coming months but did not specify a date.
Twitter introduced the video sharing application in January 2013 as a way for users to share small snippets of video that were six seconds or less. The service was popular with members of the microblogging site and spawned several so-called “Vine stars,” attracting millions of followers.
Social media users reeled over the news and Vine quickly became the top-trending topic on Twitter in the U.S. with over 1.64 million tweets.
“RIP VINE #GoneTooSoon,” tweeted Patricia Laire (@patricialaire).
“VINE IS A QUARTER OF MY LIFE I’M SO UPSET,” wrote Twitter user moon (@hrtbreaker_mp3).
Others, however, saw the news as inevitable.
“We all knew Vine was not forever,” tweeted Tyzano (@Tyzano). “It just could not compete with other platforms.”

According to Wikimedia, the Miss World pageant is the oldest surviving major international beauty pageant. It was created in the United Kingdom by Eric Morley in 1951. Since his death in 2000, Morley’s widow, Julia Morley, has co-chaired the pageant. Alongside with its rival, the Miss Universe and Miss Earth contests, Miss World pageant is one of the three most publicised beauty contests in the world.
The current Miss World is Mireia Lalaguna of Spain who was crowned on 19 December 2015 in Sanya, China PR.
Contrary to opinion, the Miss World Pageant is not all about the objectification of women’s body or fine faces, but more about Charity causes and helping the under-privileged.

How to use blade perfectly to shape the brows

Till now, the (razor) blade remains a favourite of many ladies for shaping the brows and you should try it too.

Before tweezing, microblading and other eyebrow taming techniques became popular, blade was used to neaten the brows.

Till now, the (razor) blade is still a favourite of many ladies for shaping the brows and generally getting them to stay 'fleeky'. Blade is generally a great way to get the brows neatly lined and defined though it's a repetitive process that doesn't last but for the moment it's the perfect tool.

Using the blade however requires a lot of practice before use as you can end up with overly thin brows (total turnoff), crooked brow shape (where in most cases you'd end up shaving everything off or fill/draw in with brow pencils and creams while praying for the brows to grow back- hopefully) or cutting yourself amongst other factors but when gotten perfectly, its about the best way to get brows in shape and very fast.

The blade though a temporary way to fix brows comes highly recommended for a fast neat trim, get stray hairs out of the way before defining the brows amongst other factors as seen in the tutorial.

Secret rooms discovered in world wonder

Located in Egypt, the Great Pyramid of Giza is one of the seven wonders of the ancient world.

Pyramid of Giza  Pyramid of Giza

Originally built as a Pharaoh's tomb, it has three known chambers.

Experts have however now confirmed that there is more hidden space through the use of radiography scanning. This has led to the discovery of two 'cavities' that were previously unknown.
This was discovered On Saturday, October 2016 when experts scanned the monument using radiography equipment.
Further tests are being conducted to determine the nature, function and size of the enclosures.
Built 4500 years ago, the monument, also known as the Pyramid of Khufu is 480 feet tall. Originally intended to be a Pharaoh's tomb like the other chambers in Egypt, the pyramid has three known chambers.
In a statement by Operation ScanPyramids, the scientists investigating the monument with radiography and 3D reconstruction, they said: "We are now able to confirm the existence of a 'void' hidden behind the north face, that could have the form of at least one corridor going inside the Great Pyramid."
Operation ScanPyramids began their investigations and research in October 2015 in the Pyramid of Khufu, the Khafre in Giza, and the Bent and Red pyramids in Dahshur, Cairo.
The project uses a mixture of infrared thermography, muon radiography imaging and 3D reconstruction, technologies believed to be non-invasive and non-destructive.
